In powerful, rhythmic movements, Vietnamese-Dutch choreographer and movement artist Tú Hoàng explores in The Error of Being what makes us human in an age of control, speed, and perfection. Five dancers move almost mechanically, until emotion inevitably breaks through. Tú’s hybrid dance language—in which Eastern philosophy, urban, and contemporary dance merge—is amplified in this location-based dance performance by an industrial, musical soundscape.
