Welcome to the underbelly of an old hotel, where the ground floor reeks and loud prayers echo through the night. Four guests find themselves lost in a labyrinth of conspiracy theories and apocalyptic visions, sexual neuroses, identity crises, and information overload. Who am I? What is “normal”? Which reality is the “real” one? If the CIA can brainwash people, and clones and artificial intelligence are no longer science fiction, what certainties remain?

For more than 25 years, Abattoir Fermé has been one of Flanders’ most distinctive theatre companies: bold and fearless, instantly recognisable and entirely unique. Their darkly comic work is often inspired by “the world behind the world” — the hidden layers of our culture, the roots of our collective fears, and the fantasies and rituals that shape contemporary life.
