Marica Marinoni (Italy) and Jef Everaert (Belgium) are both masters of the Cyr wheel (a large metal ring), but their styles and personalities differ greatly. Jef is indecisive and peace-loving, while Marica is steadfast and confrontational. One approaches the wheel cautiously from a position of balance, the other jumps in with conviction and lets herself fall. The wheel thus becomes a mirror of their personalities, within which their opposing approaches intertwine. It is precisely in this contrast that they discover a shared dynamic, both physical and relational.

In Difference is an exciting and wonderfully creative duet, with subtle humor and unprecedented acrobatic feats that will amaze even the most spoiled circus lover.

Marica Marinoni (Italië) en Jef Everaert (België) zijn beiden meester in het Cyr-wheel (een grote metalen ring), maar hun stijl en persoonlijkheden verschillen sterk. Jef is besluiteloos en vredelievend, Marica is juist standvastig en uit op conflict. De één benadert het wiel behoedzaam vanuit evenwicht, de ander springt er vol overtuiging in en laat zich vallen. Het wiel wordt zo een spiegel van hun persoonlijkheden, waarbinnen hun tegenovergestelde benaderingen zich met elkaar verstrengelen. Juist in dit contrast ontdekken ze een gezamenlijke dynamiek, zowel fysiek als relationeel. 
 
In Difference is een spannend en heerlijk creatief duet, met subtiele humor en met niet eerder geziene acrobatische toeren die zelfs de meest verwende circusliefhebber versteld zullen doen staan.
