Florentina Holzinger always pushes her physical boundaries and dearly paid for this when breaking both her ankles, falling from the theatre ropes. Recovery was her response. In this performance she surrounds herself with outstanding, good-tempered performers. Holzinger’s performances may seem violent, yet she’s always in search of a spiritual truth. Conquering European stages, Florentina Holzinger is considered a great talent you just can’t ignore.

Florentina Holzinger zoekt altijd de grens op en daarvoor heeft ze een dure rekening moeten betalen. Tijdens een voorstelling viel ze uit de touwen, waarbij ze haar beide enkels brak. Recovery is haar artistieke antwoord. In deze voorstelling omringt ze zich met prachtige, zachtaardige performers. Holzingers voorstelling mogen gewelddadig lijken, maar ze is altijd op zoek naar een spirituele kern.
Florentina Holzinger geldt als een groot talent die de Europese podia bestormt en waar niemand meer omheen kan.

Haar afstudeersolo (aan de Amsterdamse Hogeschool voor de Kunsten) Silk werd bekroond met de prestigieuze Prix Jardin d’Europe 2012. Zij ontwikkelde haar werk bij Impulstanz Wenen, workspacebrussels, PACT Zollverein (DE), CAMPO (BE) en bij Frascati Producties. Met Vincent Riebeek maakte ze internationaal indruk met de trilogie Kein Applaus für Scheiße – Spirit – Wellness. Wellness stong vorig seizoen in de Rotterdamse Schouwburg.
