With the annual programme Club Guy & Roni invites…, Club Guy & Roni creates space for artistic encounters and exchange. In this series, the dancers of the Poetic Disasters Club collaborate with guest choreographers while also bringing works from Club Guy & Roni’s repertoire back to life.
What once began as a platform for emerging talent has grown into a programme that fosters long-term artistic development. Makers return, ideas are given the opportunity to evolve, and different artistic worlds meet on stage.
For its sixth edition, Club Guy & Roni welcomes choreographer Mohamed Yusuf Boss, who previously participated in Club Invites in 2022. Alongside his new creation, the dancers present FREIHEIT, a work by Guy & Roni originally developed in collaboration with tanzmainz.
This double bill brings together two artistic journeys: a new chapter by a returning maker and a work born from international collaboration. In doing so, Club Invites remains a place where development, exchange, and curiosity take centre stage for makers, dancers, and audiences alike.
Club Guy & Roni
Guy Weizman and Roni Haver are the artistic driving force behind Club Guy & Roni. Since founding the company, they have built an international practice in which dance, music, theatre, and visual art come together.
Their work is renowned for its energy, bold theatricality, and commitment to nurturing new artistic voices. In 2025, they received the Gouden Zwaan (Golden Swan), the Netherlands’ most prestigious dance award, in recognition of their innovative and boundary-pushing contribution to the field. In 2026, they were awarded the international Jiří Kylián Ring for their lasting impact on the world of dance.
Waar Club Invites ooit begon als een podium voor nieuw talent, is het programma inmiddels uitgegroeid tot een plek voor ontwikkeling op langere termijn. Makers keren terug, ideeën krijgen de kans om verder te groeien, en verschillende artistieke werelden ontmoeten elkaar op het podium.
Voor de zesde editie nodigt Club Guy & Roni choreograaf Mohamed Yusuf Boss uit, die eerder al onderdeel was van Club Invites (2022). Naast zijn nieuwe werk presenteren de dansers ook FREIHEIT, een voorstelling van Guy & Roni die oorspronkelijk werd ontwikkeld in samenwerking met tanzmainz.
In deze double bill ontmoeten twee artistieke trajecten elkaar: een nieuw hoofdstuk van een maker die terugkeert, en een werk dat ontstond uit internationale samenwerking. Zo blijft Club Invites een plek waar ontwikkeling, uitwisseling en nieuwsgierigheid centraal staan voor makers, dansers en publiek.
