How do you find your way when everything is constantly changing? In FLUX, three performers search for balance in an unpredictable world. They move between stability and chaos, between leading and following. Who takes the first step? Who sets the pace? Sometimes they find calm in structure, sometimes breathing space in the unexpected, or even freedom in the unknown. But just when they feel in control, everything shifts again.

FLUX is the latest creation by Marta & Kim. At the intersection of circus and dance, they let bodies speak without words—honestly and poetically. They create an exercise in embracing the complexity of life, in getting lost and finding direction. And perhaps, it is also an attempt to truly meet each other’s gaze in these turbulent times.

About Marta & Kim

Marta and Kim-Jomi Alstadsæter are praised for weaving dance and circus into a poetic and sculptural movement language. They combine the imagination of circus with the subtlety of dance, merging these worlds into something raw, intimate, and profoundly human. Their work centers on human connection: how bodies cooperate, communicate, and influence each other. It is a constant dialogue between strength and vulnerability, virtuosity and poetry, instinct and precision, control and surrender. The result is authentic imagery that speaks without words and lingers under the skin.

Since 2016, Marta and Kim have been building a layered body of work that tours internationally. They are associate artists at Dansateliers (NL) and have collaborated closely with Festival Circolo (NL) and Davvi (NO), grounding their work firmly in both the Netherlands and Norway.
