Cristian onderzoekt in zijn voorstelling de onzichtbare energie van 'pleasen'. Niet alleen als persoonlijke worsteling, maar ook als collectieve valkuil. Wat verliezen we als we koste wat kost aardig gevonden willen worden?
Op een bijzonder grappige, originele en soms absurde manier legt Christian bloot hoe de hunkering naar goedkeuring onze relaties beïnvloedt, grenzen vervaagt en ons morele kompas onder druk zet. Met rauwe bewegingen en scherpe humor laat hij zien welke emotie er schuilgaat achter 'aardig zijn'.
Pleaser is een voorstelling die het publiek nog lang blijft heugen. De voorstelling is een uitnodiging om als publiek met de maker zowel spanning als ontlading te beleven, op zoek te gaan naar eerlijkheid, aanwezigheid en de moed om gewoon jezelf te zijn.

In a particularly funny, original, and sometimes absurd way, Christian exposes how the craving for approval affects our relationships, blurs boundaries, and puts pressure on our moral compass. With raw movements and sharp humor, he reveals the emotion behind ‘being nice’.
Pleaser is a performance that will remain in the audience's memory for a long time. The performance is an invitation for the audience to experience both tension and release with the creator, to search for honesty, presence, and the courage to just be yourself.
