"How can emptiness become a space of transformation rather than absence? How can the body give form to the invisible and create a sensory experience beyond narrative?"

Hendrickx Ntela is a choreographer, performer, educator, and founder of Konzi Company. Specializing in Krump and, more broadly, street dance, she develops an artistic practice where the power of movement meets a sensitive exploration of the body, memory, and identity.

Through her creations, performances, educational programs, and community engagement, she works to promote street cultures as genuine spaces for artistic creation, knowledge-sharing, and critical reflection. Her career has led her to collaborate with numerous institutions and festivals in Belgium and internationally, while maintaining a practice rooted in artistic excellence, innovation, and transmission.

Alongside her creative work, she also develops initiatives that support, structure, and elevate street cultures, notably through the organization of events, battles, and training programs dedicated to the next generation of dancers.

During Welcome To Our Guesthouse, Hendrickx continues the development of FÉEX, an ongoing choreographic research project exploring emptiness as a space of transformation rather than absence. Inspired by the Wolof word meaning “void” the project investigates the relationship between the body and the invisible through krump, abstraction, and sensory experience.

FÉEX creates a landscape of movement, silence, sound, and presence where memories, emotions, and unseen forces can emerge. During the Guesthouse residency, the research will focus on refining the choreographic language, deepening the relationship between movement, sound, and space, and continuing to develop an immersive experience that invites audiences to encounter their own invisible inner landscapes.
