RIDCC presenteert LHBTIQA+ -dansworkshop

Moderne dansworkshop; all genders, all levels and all bodies

Ook deze editie staat de unieke LHBTQIA-dansworkshop weer op het programma van RIDCC (Rotterdam International Dance Choreography Competition).  Choreograaf en danser Dario Tortorelli biedt de workshop aan in samenwerking met LHBTIQA+ sportvereniging Ketelbinkie.

De moderne dansworkshop is toegankelijk voor all genders, all levels en all bodies en vindt plaats op het podium van Theater Rotterdam. In 2016 richtte de Italiaanse danser en choreograaf Dario Tortorelli DiVEinD op, met een focus op  ‘visual poetry of performing bodies’. Dario danste onder andere bij Introdans, Conny Janssen Danst en Ann Van den Broek en geeft les bij verschillende internationale dansgezelschappen en instellingen.

Deelnemers aan de workshop worden ook uitgenodigd om de buitenvoorstelling Fάrιsa van choreografen Danae & Dionysios bij te wonen op het Schouwburgplein!  

Als mede-initiatiefnemer van het evenement biedt Ketelbinkie, de grootste LHBTIQA+ sportvereniging van Nederland, deelnemers de mogelijkheid om de dansworkshop en voorstelling gratis bij te wonen.

After previous success, RIDCC (Rotterdam International Dance Choreography Competition) will once again present the unique LGBTQIA+ dance workshop. Choreographer and dancer Dario Tortorelli offers the workshop in collaboration with the lgbtqia+ sports club Ketelbinkie.

The modern dance workshop is open to all genders, all levels and all bodies and will take place on the stage of Theater Rotterdam. In 2016, Italian dancer and choreographer Dario Tortorelli founded DiVEinD, which focuses on the visual poetry of the performing body. Dario has danced with Introdans, Conny Janssen Danst and Ann Van den Broek, among others, and teaches at various international dance companies and institutions.

Workshop participants are also invited to attend the outdoor performance Fάrιsa of Danae and Dionysios on Schouwburgplein! 

As co-initiator of the event, Ketelbinkie, the largest lgbtqia+ sports association in the Netherlands, is offering participants the opportunity to attend the dance workshop and performance free of charge.
