An all female rock performance about the Persian poet and filmmaker Forough Farrokhzad, a theater concert about rebellion, life and death. Forough Farrokhzad (1935 – 1967) is one of the most important poets of the 20th century in Iran. With her first poem 'Sin' from 1958 about female sexuality, she is both famous and reviled. After gaining international fame as a filmmaker, she dies at the age of 32. In her short, free-spirited life, she continuously exceeded social norms. Forough Farrokhzad is a heroine and inspiration to women around the world.

If DeGraaff is going to do something with poems by Forough Farrokhzad, it will be … different. Because, just like Farrokhzad, DeGraaff likes to be provocative, as she showed the audience earlier with her 'Porn opera', 'The Naked Shit Songs' and the ‘Apera’.
