With collaborators like lighting designer Tom Visser and costume designer Osnat Kelner, the stage is set for a visually stunning and emotionally powerful journey through the Theatre of Dreams. Hofesh recently graced the TR stage with his work From England with Love and will be an artist in residence at TR for the upcoming theater season.
BIO
Choreographer Hofesh Shechter is recognised as one of the most exciting artists making stage work today, renowned for composing atmospheric musical scores to complement the unique physicality of his movement. He is Artistic Director of the UK-based Hofesh Shechter Company, formed in 2008. The company are resident at Brighton Dome and Shechter is an Associate Artist of Sadler’s Wells and Artist-in Residence of Gauthier Dance (2021-2024).

Uitgevoerd door de geweldige dansers van de Hofesh Shechter Company, onthult deze voorstelling de ingewikkelde emoties die onze dromen en wakkere gedachten vullen. Angsten, hoop, verlangens en een scala aan verdere gevoelens komen tot leven op het podium, waar de geest de controle heeft.

Choreograaf Hofesh Shechter wordt erkend als een van de meest interessante makers die momenteel toneelwerk maken, en staat bekend om het componeren van sfeervolle muziekscores die de unieke lichamelijkheid van zijn beweging complementeren. Hij is artistiek directeur van het in het Verenigd Koninkrijk gevestigde Hofesh Shechter Company, opgericht in 2008. Het gezelschap werkt vanuit Brighton Dome en Shechter is Associate Artist van Sadler’s Wells en Artist-in-Residence bij Gauthier Dance (2021-2024).
