Ready for a new dimension in dating? Meet your theater match on February 14th during a well-filled cultural date night. After a successful series, we are back this Valentine's Day with Dating the Unknown.

We believe in creating connections that go beyond the surface. During Dating the Unknown, you have the chance to be matched with your ideal theater partner. Fill out a questionnaire in advance, and we'll work to find your perfect match. Whether it's a romantic spark, a new friendship, or a poly connection, we ensure an evening full of unexpected encounters.

How does the evening unfold?

We welcome you an hour and a half before the start at our 'love desk.' While you enjoy a refreshing Kaapse Brouwers drink, our matchmakers arrange the first introduction. Then it's up to you to get to know each other before the performance begins.

Together, you'll experience the performance C A R C A Ç A in our large hall. In C A R C A Ç A, folklore and urban, past and present, are fused into one big dance party. But with a serious undertone. Da Silva Ferreira reflects on building a new identity, a place for everyone, with this performance. Plenty to talk about afterward.

After the performance, you're free to go. Not done with your date? Join the pleasure bingo by the art collective De Stu in our lobby. Free of charge.

Vul vooraf een vragenlijst in en wij gaan aan de slag om een je perfecte match te vinden.  Hoe verloopt de avond? 

Wij ontvangen je anderhalf uur voor aanvang bij onze ‘love balie’. Terwijl jij geniet van een verfrissend Kaapse Brouwers drankje, regelen onze matchmakers de eerste kennismaking. Daarna zijn jullie aan zet, doorgrond elkaar voor de voorstelling begint.

Samen beleven jullie de voorstelling C A R C A Ç A in onze grote zaal. In C A R C A Ç A worden folklore en urban, verleden en heden, aaneengesmeed tot één groot dansfeest. Maar met een serieuze ondertoon. Da Silva Ferreira denkt met deze voorstelling na over het bouwen aan een nieuwe identiteit, een plek voor iedereen. Genoeg om over na te praten dus.
