Whether you’re an expat, an international student or a native Dutchman with a love of foreign theatre: we have good news! Theater Rotterdam puts on performances for non-Dutch speakers right in the centre of Rotterdam. Our program includes a lot of (dance) performances as well as plays in English, with subtitles or without any speech. Feel free to browse through our selection.

Theater Rotterdam strives to make its performances accessible for all visitors by providing services for those who may need assistance.
Service for wheelchair users
TR25 Schouwburg offers accessible seating for those in wheelchairs. Please call the box office to reserve wheelchair seats. On the evening of the show, we will guide you via the elevator to your seat and help where necessary. At location TR8 William Boothlaan, the room can be reached via a stair lift.
Service for the hearing impaired
We have a sound amplification in the cloakroom in the hall of TR25 Schouwburg. You can borrow this receiver free of charge and it can be connected to any hearing aid with a telecoil. If you don't have a hearing aid, we will provide a receiver with headphones. After the show we need you to return the device at the information desk. There are no hearing induction loops available at TR8 William Boothlaan.

Public Transportation
Our two locations are within walking distance of Rotterdam Central Station. From there you can walk to TR25 Schouwburg (Schouwburgplein 25) in 5-10 minutes and to TR8 William Boothlaan (William Boothlaan 8) in 15-20 minutes. From subway station Beurs you can walk to TR 8 William Boothlaan in 5 minutes.
Parking TR25 Schouwburg
You can park your car in the Schouwburgplein car park. There are two entrances:
- the entrance on Schouwburgplein (in front of the theatre)
- or the entrance via the Weenatunnel in front of Central Station (drive via 'parking cluster Rotterdam Centraal')
We advise users of a navigation system to use Mauritsstraat 1 or Schouwburgplein 25 as their destination. The navigation will take you to the entrance of the Schouwburgplein car parking lot.
Parkinginrotterdam.nl offers large parking discounts. This website replaces our blue boxes. See for yourself which discount suits you best.
Parking TR8 William Boothlaan
TR8 William Boothlaan (formerly Zaal Ro Theater) is located in downtown Rotterdam.
If you park your car at Witte de Withstraat or William Boothlaan, please note that you can only pay with 06-parking, debit card or credit card. You can also park in the nearby West Blaak parking garage (2 minutes' walk). More information about this can be found at Parking in Rotterdam.
