Our two locations are located in the center of Rotterdam and are therefore easily accessible by public transport, bicycle, car and on foot. Information about our address and parking.
Theater Rotterdam strives to make its performances accessible for all visitors by providing services for those who may need assistance.
Service for wheelchair users
TR25 Schouwburg offers accessible seating for those in wheelchairs. Please call the box office to reserve wheelchair seats. On the evening of the show, we will guide you via the elevator to your seat and help where necessary. At location TR8 William Boothlaan, the room can be reached via a stair lift.
Service for the hearing impaired
We have a sound amplification in the cloakroom in the hall of TR25 Schouwburg. You can borrow this receiver free of charge and it can be connected to any hearing aid with a telecoil. If you don't have a hearing aid, we will provide a receiver with headphones. After the show we need you to return the device at the information desk. There are no hearing induction loops available at TR8 William Boothlaan.

Public Transportation
Our two locations are within walking distance of Rotterdam Central Station. From there you can walk to TR25 Schouwburg (Schouwburgplein 25) in 5-10 minutes and to TR8 William Boothlaan (William Boothlaan 8) in 15-20 minutes. From subway station Beurs you can walk to TR 8 William Boothlaan in 5 minutes.
Parking TR25 Schouwburg
You can park your car in the Schouwburgplein car park. There are two entrances:
- the entrance on Schouwburgplein (in front of the theatre)
- or the entrance via the Weenatunnel in front of Central Station (drive via 'parking cluster Rotterdam Centraal')
We advise users of a navigation system to use Mauritsstraat 1 or Schouwburgplein 25 as their destination. The navigation will take you to the entrance of the Schouwburgplein car parking lot.
Parkinginrotterdam.nl offers large parking discounts. This website replaces our blue boxes. See for yourself which discount suits you best.
Parking TR8 William Boothlaan
TR8 William Boothlaan (formerly Zaal Ro Theater) is located in downtown Rotterdam.
If you park your car at Witte de Withstraat or William Boothlaan, please note that you can only pay with 06-parking, debit card or credit card. You can also park in the nearby West Blaak parking garage (2 minutes' walk). More information about this can be found at Parking in Rotterdam.
Ticket Sales
Where and how can I buy tickets?
You can purchase tickets 24 hours a day via theaterrotterdam.nl. The box office can be reached by phone from Monday to Friday between 14:00 and 17:00 at 010-4118110. The physical box office is open Monday to Friday from 14:00 to 17:00 at Mauritsstraat 6. On performance days, the box office opens one hour before the performance starts.

I’m having trouble creating an account. Why is that?
You may be using an outdated internet browser. We recommend using Google Chrome.
I receive an error message when logging in or during checkout. What should I do?
Your website login details and your account in the ticketing system may not be correctly linked. Please call the box office at 010-4118110 (Mon–Fri 14:00–17:00) or send an email to kassa@theaterrotterdam.nl.
I want to order multiple tickets for one performance but I can’t select a quantity.
The shopping cart contains performances rather than individual tickets. You select the number of tickets for each performance in a later step of the process.
The seating map does not load during the booking process.
You may be using an outdated browser. Try again in Chrome or Safari, or update your browser.
I don’t see a seating map at all.
Some performances are unreserved with free seating. In that case, no seating map is shown and you go directly to the price overview.
What does the seating layout of the Main Hall look like?
For most performances you will have an assigned seat. Your ticket shows your row and seat number and which entrance (left or right) to use for the auditorium.
Where can I find my purchased tickets on the website?
After payment you will immediately receive your tickets as e-tickets by email. They cannot be downloaded from the website.
I lost my e-tickets / did not receive them. How can I get them again?
Sometimes e-tickets end up in the spam folder, so please check there first. If you cannot find them, contact the box office by phone or email and we will resend them.
If you have not received your tickets on the day of the performance, you can collect them at the box office before the show.
I can no longer attend the performance. Can I get a refund?
Tickets can be cancelled up to 24 hours before the performance. In exchange you will receive a voucher. We do not offer monetary refunds.
The performance I want to attend is sold out. Can I join a waiting list?
For sold-out performances you can obtain a waiting number at the box office starting one hour before the performance. If seats become available, they will be sold in order of the waiting numbers. On the website you can also see if an online waiting list is active where you can sign up. If seats become available, you will be contacted.
How can I pay for my ticket?
You can pay with a debit card, credit card, voucher or gift card. We do not accept cash. This applies both at the box office and on our website.
Which gift cards do you accept at the box office?
We accept the Podium Cadeaukaart and the Theater & Concert Gift Card. Unfortunately, we do not accept VVV or other gift cards.
Can I redeem my Podium Cadeaukaart or voucher online?
Yes. During the payment process you can pay (part of the amount) with your Podium Cadeaukaart or voucher. Please note: the Podium Cadeaukaart uses a PIN code (located under the grey scratch sticker).
Can tickets be scanned from my phone?
Yes, please make sure your screen brightness is set high.
Do you offer group discounts?
Yes. For reduced rates for groups of 15 people or more, please contact the box office at 010-4118110. Click here for all other discount offers.
Your Visit
I am late for the performance. Can I still enter?
Unfortunately, once the performance has started it is no longer possible to enter the auditorium.
Is photography allowed?
To respect the concentration of the performers, it is not allowed to make audio, video, or photo recordings during performances. Out of respect for the artists and other visitors, we ask that you set your mobile phone to silent during the performance. Please also note that illuminated screens can cause disturbance for both performers and audience members.
Is food and drink allowed in the auditorium?
Food and drinks are not allowed in the Main Hall or the Small Hall. You are welcome to dine at café restaurant Floor. See the opening hours and menu.
I have difficulty walking or use a wheelchair. How can I reserve a suitable seat?
We have special wheelchair spaces and ground-level rows that are easily accessible from the auditorium entrance. In the Main Hall of TR25 Schouwburg these seats are located close to the lift. Please call our box office to reserve them: 010-4118110. More information about accessibility can be found on Accessibility | Theater Rotterdam.
I have a (visible or invisible) disability. How can I indicate that I need assistance and where can I find information to prepare my visit?

Food and Drinks
Can I eat somewhere nearby before a performance?
Would you like to have drinks, lunch, dinner, coffee, or discuss the performance before or after the show? You can do so at Café Restaurant Floor, located in the theatre. More information and reservations can be made via www.cafefloor.nl.
Is a drink included in the ticket price?
For performances and Tracks that also take place in the Main Hall, one drink is included in the ticket price, with the exception of some rentals and concerts.
Is the bar open? Where can I stay for a drink after the performance?
Café Restaurant Floor is open during its regular opening hours. For performances at location TR8 William Boothlaan, the bar is open before and after the performance.
